Metabolism and Autism
Because autism is a very complex disease, it requires the autistic individual to “evolve” in order to survive. Without the capacity to build anti-inflammatories from fatty acids, the autistic individual is forced to adapt through changes in the production of short chain fatty acids in the gut which help with inflammation. While this change saves their lives, it also contributes to the symptoms of autism.
Autism is a very complicated and complex set of disorders that stem from needed genetic expressions being turned off, needed genetic expressions being improperly encoded, or unneeded genetic expressions improperly turned on. By virtue of these improper genetic expressions, the autistic individual’s body, from metabolism to the highest functions, has to adapt to survive.
The human body is a very delicate thing, but also a very resilient thing. Every time you eat, you change your genetic expression. If you walk over a lead mine, your genetic expression will change and adapt. If you are a cigarette smoker, your genetic expressions will change. If you have allergies, your genetic expression will change.
How we “metabolize” what we eat is also a very big part of this picture and is determined by diet and by environment. For instance, athletes will crave sugars and carbohydrates as those provide “quick energy” for athletic endeavors. Someone who lives in a cold climate will crave fatty foods. We pay very little attention to this now, but we really should start paying more attention. Consider this…
A group of humans lives in a jungle abundant with fruits but has very little proteins or sources of fats. If all those humans ate were fruits, they would be well satisfied. However, every time they ate fatty acids, their bodies would want to store that precious commodity for future use. There would be very little need to use a stored fatty acid and most of the bodily processes are running on the fruits=sugars as fuels. So the body stores the fatty acids and these human would get obese in abundance.
Well, guess what? Check out the food labels of the things you eat. Sugar, carbo’s, high fructose corn syrup, sugar, sugar, sugar, sugar. We are getting fat in abundance and it is killing us. Further, what ails most of us due to the above is exactly what ails someone affiliated with autism. In fact, autistic people have alot of trouble just processing fatty acids. There are several reasons for this and all are addressed by the Focus Metabolic Powder.
In a way, autism is an evolution. It is a chain reaction of circumstances that happen within the body in order to save that person’s life. Interestingly, many other “genetic” and neurodegenerative diseases may be linked back to diet, environment, and the resulting genetics changes.
